Afiya Rowlins is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Newburgh Enlarged City School District since February 2018, Afiya previously worked as a Learning Specialist at Explore Charter School from August 2013 to August 2017 and as a Special Educator at Open House Nursery School from September 2007 to July 2013. Afiya holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from SUNY New Paltz (2018-2019) and multiple degrees in Special Education and Teaching from Brooklyn College, including a Master's degree (2012-2013), a Master of Education (2013-2015), and a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (2008-2012).
