Ryan Knott serves as a Professor of Cello at Newberry College since January 2022. Additionally, Ryan holds the role of Personnel Manager for the Rock Hill Symphony Orchestra, responsible for communications and human resource management of orchestra personnel, as well as facilitating collaboration among various stakeholders. As a cellist, Ryan performs with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and the South Carolina Philharmonic, contributing to the arts community since 2012 and 2015, respectively. Since 2010, Ryan has also been a dedicated cello instructor, teaching students of all ages and abilities. Ryan earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the University of South Carolina in 2014.
