Steve Davis is an accomplished independent ICT professional with extensive experience in consultancy, training, and systems supply, specializing in computer networking infrastructure, incident management, and emergency management. Since 2007, Steve has directed and consulted through Davis Networking, while also contributing to various organizations, including the Amateur Radio Service and AREC, where communication services are provided for emergencies. As a team member of the New Zealand Red Cross's IT & Telecom Emergency Response Unit, deployments have included significant international disaster responses. Involvement in volunteer roles, such as a trustee for the Wandersearch Canterbury Charitable Trust and a member of NZRT-11, showcases a commitment to community safety and emergency response. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Management from Massey University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury.
