Dr. Jaleh McCormack serves as the Director of Innovation at New Zealand Health Group, where the focus is on fostering a culture of innovation to enhance healthcare for diverse communities. Previously held roles include Director of Special Projects and Strategic Advisor within the same organization, contributing to strategy development and the Group Disability Strategy. Dr. McCormack's tenure at the Ministry of Social Development involved managing research and evaluation functions, while prior experience at Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga involved providing strategic oversight for emergency housing solutions. Leadership roles at Oranga Tamariki focused on caregiver experience and engagement with children in care. Additional consultancy roles addressed public sector strategies, and early research endeavors were recognized through grants from Sport New Zealand and contributions at the University of Otago. Dr. McCormack holds a PhD in Health/Sociology, along with an MA in Human Geography and a BA (Honours) in Human Geography.
