Claire Woolley currently serves as the Director of Strategic Programmes at the New Zealand Defence Force, where responsibilities include providing strategic direction for programmes and infrastructure projects within the Estate Regeneration Programme. With extensive experience in consulting services from 2002 to 2024, Claire has advised various clients, including Fletcher Living, where development management was undertaken for medium density residential projects. Claire previously held roles such as Development Manager at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, managing capital works for the Pacific Property System Project, and at SkyCity Entertainment Group for the Horizon Hotel. Additional experience includes managing a team at Auckland Council focused on resource consents, leading urban revitalisation efforts at Chicago Gateway Green, and overseeing environmental compliance projects for the City of Chicago. Claire holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Otago, a Master of Arts (Applied) in Environmental Studies from Victoria University of Wellington, and further qualifications in financial management from the University of Chicago.
