Lauren E. Ryba is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal field. Currently serving as Counsel to the President at NYSUT since September 2020, Lauren has previously held positions such as Counsel, Administrative Judge, and Director of Special Funds from January 2014 to August 2020, as well as Attorney roles in multiple organizations including a private law office and Insurance Defense. Lauren's career in law began with a Legal Assistant position at the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York, following a Legal Externship at the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York. Lauren E. Ryba holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University at Albany.
