Nathalia Fernandez serves as a State Senator for New York State Senate since January 2023, having previously been an NYS Assembly Member from April 2018 to January 2023. Earlier in the career, Nathalia held the position of Bronx Regional Representative in the Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo from March 2017 to February 2018 and served as Chief of Staff to Assembly Member Mark Gjonaj from January 2013 to March 2017. Nathalia's experience includes managing a district office, handling constituent cases, and volunteering for various organizations, including a campaign for the NYS Assembly in 2012. Nathalia's foundation in public relations was established with a BA from Hofstra University, completed in 2010. Additional roles include working as an administrative assistant and interning in media and advertising environments, showcasing a diverse skill set in public service and communications.
