Jared Newman is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Director of the Democratic Conference Internship Program in the New York State Senate since January 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing interns in 39 Democratic Senators' offices, developing curriculum, and managing HR intake. Prior to this role, Jared held positions as a Legislative Aide and Session Assistant in the Office of the Democratic Conference Leader, managing constituent relations and conducting legislative research. Additionally, Jared served as the Head U19 Race Coach at Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl, Inc. from March 2013 to April 2019, focusing on junior ski racers. Jared's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History and Criminal Justice from the University at Albany and a Public Policy and Economics program at Georgetown University.
