Kristen McKniff has an extensive work experience in various positions related to human resources and administration. Kristen started their career as a Company Manager for C.W. POST DANCE COMPANY, where they established procedures and managed tours and rehearsals. Kristen then worked as a Production Assistant at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts/LIU, where they handled technical arrangements and collaborated with stage crews. Later, they served as an Executive Assistant at Long Island University/Tilles Center, overseeing contract reviews and maintaining the performance calendar. McKniff then joined IMG Artists as a Managerial Associate, planning tours for international artists and achieving significant increases in net income. Kristen then worked at Left Right as a Staff Production Manager, obtaining insurance and coordinating payroll for various shows. Kristen also streamlined the payroll process by implementing a digital system. McKniff further gained experience as an HR Manager at Museum of the City of New York, where they handled onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, and employee relations. Currently, they hold the position of Human Resources Manager at the New York Philharmonic and is responsible for overseeing HR operations.
Kristen McKniff holds a Master of Science degree in Non Profit Management/Business, which they obtained from Long Island University between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Arts Management/Dance from Long Island University between 2002 and 2005.
