Kathie Parsons has over 30 years of experience in finance and leadership roles. Kathie is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the New York Philharmonic, a role they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they were the VP of Finance at the same company since December 2020. Before joining the New York Philharmonic, Kathie worked as the CFO at the AT&T Performing Arts Center from May 2019 to December 2020. Kathie also held the position of VP of Finance at BearCom from October 2018 to May 2019. Additionally, Kathie worked as a Senior Finance Manager at Daisy Brand from 2017 to 2018, where they managed various finance functions and provided financial support to different departments. Earlier in their career, they held roles at various 501(c)(3) entities at Highland Park Independent School District, where they managed treasury, financial, and business development functions. Kathie also worked as the Director of Finance at the AT&T Performing Arts Center from 2015 to 2017, overseeing accounting, compliance reporting, and financial analysis. Kathie started their career at GE, where they worked in various finance roles, including as a Pricing and Capital Allocation Leader at GE Capital and a Lending and Investing Finance Manager at GE Capital Real Estate.
Kathie Parsons holds an MBA in Finance & International Business from NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the New York State Education Department - Office of the Professions.
