Evelyn Petcher is an accomplished music educator and resident artist with extensive experience in violin instruction and arts education. Currently serving as a Resident Artist at Bronx Arts Ensemble, a Very Young Composers Teaching Artist Associate at New York Philharmonic, and a Teaching Artist at The Center for Arts Education and LEAP - Learning through an Expanded Arts Program, Inc, Evelyn has dedicated a significant portion of the career to teaching and mentoring young musicians. Co-founding East Lake Expression Engine and previously teaching with esteemed organizations such as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. Luke's, Evelyn has cultivated a rich background in both orchestral and individual instruction. Academic credentials include a Master of Music in Violin from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and English from Covenant College.
