Aashish Patel, DO, MHCDS, currently serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology/Neurocritical Care at the New York Institute of Technology and as a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine - Neurology at Ross University School of Medicine. Aashish Patel held the position of Director of Neurocritical Care at Jamaica Hospital from December 2021 to September 2024, and previously served as an Assistant Professor at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine. With extensive experience as a Neurointensivist and Stroke/Telestroke specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital and JFK Health, Aashish Patel has a focus on treating life-threatening brain and spinal cord emergencies. Training in neurocritical care was completed as a fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and education includes a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth and a Doctor of Osteopathy from Kansas City University.
