Nicole Mahoney, PhD, serves as the Manager of Scholarly Initiatives and Academic Affairs at the New-York Historical Society since August 2017, focusing on the development of programming and fellowships that engage public audiences and advance scholarship in women's history and related fields. Additionally, Nicole coordinates the Early Career Workshop at the N-YHS Center for Women's History, fostering collaboration among emerging scholars. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor at CUNY School of Professional Studies, Nicole teaches multimedia online courses in public and women's history. Previous roles include Graduate Research Fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania and Hagley Museum and Library, and a Lecturer at the University of Maryland. Nicole holds a PhD in American History from the University of Maryland and has earned degrees from Columbia University and Wagner College.
