Kionah Tucker is an experienced education professional currently serving as Education Coordinator and Assistant to the Vice President for Education at the New-York Historical Society since September 2017. Previously, Kionah worked as the College and Graduate Internships Coordinator and Education Associate at the same organization and held the position of Educator at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum from April 2017 to July 2020. Academic experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant at St. John's University, where support was provided to students with disabilities and assistance was offered in educational settings, as well as serving as a Student Wellness Peer Educator and Discover New York Peer Leader. Kionah also held the position of Lipper Intern at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, where education focused on the Holocaust, and previously worked as a Customer Service Associate at Food Lion. Kionah holds a Master of Arts in U.S. History and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from St. John's University.
