Kathy Messineo serves as the Vice President of Clinical Services at The New York Foundling since September 2017. In addition to this role, Kathy has maintained a clinical psychology practice since July 2014. Previous positions include Associate Director of Mental Health at Correctional Health Services Corp. Rikers Island and Clinical Supervisor at Rikers Island. Kathy also held the role of Behavior Intervention Specialist at Lifespire, where involvement included oversight of psychological services for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness. Experience includes providing therapy at South Shore Child Guidance Center and completing internships at New York City Children's Center in various treatment settings. Kathy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University.
