Karen Becker Maher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and government relations. Currently, Karen serves as the Chief of Staff at the NYC School Construction Authority, having progressed through various leadership roles within the organization since May 2014. Prior to this, Karen was the Director of Government Relations at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and served as Chief of Staff for Councilman Domenic Recchia at the NYC City Council. Karen holds a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
