Margaret Egan is CUNY’s Interim Vice Chancellor for Human Resources/Director of Strategic Initiatives. She is also a Senior Fellow at the CUNY Institute for State and Local Governance.

As part of her strategic initiatives focus, Egan oversees the Administrative Excellence Initiative, a broad administrative restructuring effort to make CUNY more efficient and effective, saving $75 million over four years to rededicate to core education priorities.
