Volha Puzikava is a data scientist with extensive experience in analytical roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a data scientist at New York Blood Center since June 2023, Volha contributes to the Analytics team by enabling informed decision-making and facilitating collaboration with Data Engineering and Software Engineering teams. Prior experience includes working at New Era Safety Consulting, Inc. from September 2021 to June 2023, where Volha focused on data analysis to promote safety in the construction industry. Volha also served as a criminalist at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner from July 2018 to June 2023, performing forensic analyses and applying statistical techniques for DNA interpretation. Earlier roles as a criminalist and intern at the New York City Police Department involved conducting analytical tests and expert testimony related to criminal investigations. Volha holds a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from John Jay College (CUNY) and completed an Immersive Data Science Bootcamp program at Flatiron School.
