Jorge Soler is an accomplished researcher and educator in the fields of infection disease epidemiology, HIV prevention, and community health. Currently serving as an Assistant Member and Junior Faculty at the New York Blood Center, Jorge develops and manages research projects focused on infection diseases and transfusion medicine. As Chair of the High Impact Prevention and Engagement Subcommittee for the HIV Planning Group at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Jorge leads community initiatives in HIV prevention and serves as an invited speaker for significant health observances. With a strong academic background that includes a PhD in Health Behavior & Health Education from the University of Michigan, Jorge has held various roles in research, including postdoctoral fellowships at Columbia University and substantial involvement in community-based participatory research. Jorge's work has influenced HIV policy and practice across diverse populations, reflecting a commitment to improving public health outcomes.
