Wayne J. Riley, M.D., MPH, MBA, MACP, currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at The New York Academy of Medicine since January 2019 and has been the President of SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University since April 2017. Previously, Wayne J. Riley held the position of President at Meharry Medical College from January 2007 to June 2013. Wayne J. Riley's academic credentials include an Executive MBA from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, a Doctor of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine, and a Master of Public Health in Health Systems Management from Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, alongside undergraduate studies at Yale University.
