Richard Summers is an experienced R&D Manager currently overseeing Pipeline & Portfolio Management at New World Medical since August 2022, with a strong focus on ensuring project delivery of new product development within time and budget constraints. Prior to this role, Richard held positions as Senior R&D Project Lead at APDS Engineering and Engineering Manager at Scott Turbon Mixer. With extensive experience in project management, engineering, and product development across various companies, Richard has directed engineering teams, developed innovative medical devices, and managed operations for numerous projects. Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology and multiple certifications, including PMP and Six Sigma, from Glendale Community College.
