Kerry Higgins Wendt currently serves as Managing Editor and Senior Editor at New South Associates, Inc. since May 2019. Wendt operates as a self-employed Academic Editor, providing editorial services to university presses and academic authors since August 2011. Previous experience includes tutoring high school students in the Upward Bound Program from September 2014 to March 2016, and serving as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant for The Correspondence of Samuel Beckett from September 2011 to August 2013, where responsibilities included extensive copyediting and training new research assistants. Wendt has also taught various writing courses at Emory University and Georgia Perimeter College. Education includes a Ph.D. in Twentieth Century English Literature, Rhetoric and Composition from Emory University, and a BA in English from the University of Rochester.
