Pep Ribas is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend and control systems development. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at New Relic since October 2014, Pep's previous roles include Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at the same company. Pep has also held positions at Ducksboard as a Senior Backend Engineer and at Flumotion as a Senior Software Engineer, where contributions included developing a streaming server technology. Earlier experience includes work at BMAT focusing on music recommendation services, CELLS developing control software for synchrotron systems, and software engineering projects at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Pep holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, completed in 2004.
