Ilona Berzina is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry. Currently serving as Executive Director and Sales Director at New Regency Productions since August 2019, Berzina previously held the position of Head of TV Development at Lattelecom from September 2018 to August 2019, focusing on channel acquisitions and market analysis. Prior experience includes nearly twelve years as Senior Acquisitions Manager at Viasat World Limited, where Berzina negotiated deals for various channels across Central and Eastern Europe and played a key role in launching services in multiple regions. Earlier career highlights include serving as Head of Acquisitions and Sales at Latvian Television from 2000 to 2006, and as Head of International Relations for the ESC Final Organizing Committee for the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. Berzina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Latvia and completed secondary education at Marupe Secondary School.
