Shawn Dove is a seasoned leader in social entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and community empowerment, currently serving as Managing Partner at New Profit since February 2022. In this role, Dove manages philanthropic investments and supports social entrepreneurs working to address systemic injustices. As the Founder of the Corporation for Black Male Achievement, Dove has championed initiatives designed to elevate the status of Black men and boys. Previous experience includes serving as CEO of the Campaign for Black Male Achievement and founding Proud Poppa Publication, aimed at replicating successful fatherhood principles in the Black community. Dove has held significant roles at the Open Society Foundations and MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership, focusing on mentorship and youth development. Educational credentials include a degree from Wesleyan University, obtained in 1984.
