Abby Marquand is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social impact and philanthropy. Currently serving as Managing Partner at New Profit since September 2021, Abby previously held the position of Director for the North America Social Impact Team at Mastercard, contributing to significant initiatives aimed at enhancing economic opportunities in Black communities. Prior roles include Program Officer for Global Philanthropy at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where strategic grant-making was led, and Director of the New York Alliance for Careers in Healthcare at the NYC Department of Small Business Services, focusing on healthcare training and employment. Abby's earlier career included impactful policy research work at PHI and a foundation in chemistry as a Staff Chemist at Merck. Abby holds a Master’s degree in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Barnard College.
