Victor Leon is currently a board member at the New Mexico Technology Council. Victor previously worked as the Chief Information Officer for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and for the State of New Mexico's Children, Youth, and Families Department.
At ASRT, Victor oversaw enterprise project management, software engineering/web development, and technical/infrastructure operations. Victor was responsible for ASRT's transition to an Agile/Scrum environment and led the department through a period of growth.
As CIO for the State of New Mexico's CYFD, Victor was responsible for IT operations for the 4th largest state agency. Victor managed a team of 52 employees and oversaw enterprise project management, software engineering/web development, and technical/infrastructure operations. Victor led the department through a period of transition, implementing an Agile/Scrum environment and modernizing the agency's IT infrastructure.
Victor Leon has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of New Mexico in Business Computer Systems. Victor is certified from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Project Management Professional (PMP).
