Paige Prescott is a Board Member at New Mexico Technology Council. Paige has also worked as Project GUTS coordinator at Santa Fe Institute, Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), and as a Program Manager at Project G.U.T.S.
Paige Prescott has always been interested in computer science and teaching. Paige started their career as a teacher, but soon realized that they could have a bigger impact by working with teachers to help them integrate computer science into their classrooms. Paige became a project coordinator at the Santa Fe Institute, where they helped create and implement a computer science curriculum for middle school students. Paige then took a position at the Computer Science Teachers Association, where they helped develop resources and professional development opportunities for computer science teachers. Finally, they became a program manager at Project G.U.T.S., where they oversaw the after-school program and worked with teachers to develop a computer science curriculum aligned with NGSS standards.
Paige Prescott is passionate about computer science education and believes that all students should have the opportunity to learn about this growing field. Paige is committed to helping teachers integrate computer science into their classrooms so that more students can benefit from this type of education.
Paige Prescott has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from The University of New Mexico, a Bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College, and has completed the CoETaIL program. Paige is currently working as a teacher at ruamrudee international school.
