Aaron Jaramillo is a board member at the New Mexico Technology Council. Aaron has previously worked as an SLED Specialist at Splunk and a Regional Vice President at Xerox.
Aaron has always been interested in technology and its potential to change the world. Aaron started their career at Xerox, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become a Regional Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for selling large-scale business process outsourcing services to state government healthcare organizations. Aaron was instrumental in securing a $45 million contract with the State of Louisiana to outsource the management of the state’s Medicaid long term care waiver program.
In October 2016, Aaron left Xerox to join Splunk as an SLED Specialist. In this role, they served as the primary account manager for State, Local and Education accounts in Nevada and New Mexico. Aaron was successful in growing Splunk’s customer base in these states, and was instrumental in Splunk’s success in winning a contract with the State of New Mexico.
Aaron is a thought leader in the tech industry, and is passionate about its potential to change the world for the better. Aaron is a sought-after speaker and panelist, and has been featured in numerous publications. Aaron is also an active mentor, and has helped numerous startups get off the ground.
