Kristen Mitchell is an experienced professional in urban planning and community development, currently serving as Director at NJ TRANSIT since December 2022, focusing on mixed-use joint development and adaptive reuse projects to enhance rail and bus facilities. Previous roles include Merchant Support & Community Engagement at Baltimore Public Markets Corporation, Executive Director at Market Center Merchants Association, and Director of Smart Growth Design & Development at the Maryland Department of Planning.
