Andrew Gilbert is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as Chair of US Corporate at DLA Piper LLP since July 2010, Andrew previously held the position of Partner in the Business and Finance Practice at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP from July 2004 to July 2010. Prior to that, Andrew was a Senior Partner at Hale and Dorr LLP (now Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr) from 2001 to 2004 and spent seven years as an Associate/Shareholder at Buchanan Ingersoll from 1993 to 2000. Early in Andrew's career, experience included serving as an Underwriter at American International Group from 1988 to 1991. Andrew holds a JD from Rutgers Law School, obtained between 1990 and 1993, and a BA from Colgate University, earned from 1984 to 1988.
