John Pelesko currently serves as the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, John Pelesko spent over two decades at the University of Delaware, where positions included Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Interim Dean, and Professor and Associate Dean for the Natural Sciences. In these roles, John Pelesko oversaw multiple science departments that played a pivotal role in the college's research and teaching. Earlier in the career, John Pelesko also chaired the Department of Mathematical Sciences, managing a significant faculty and student body. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, earned between 1992 and 1997.
