Barry Hirschman is a seasoned human resources professional and veteran with extensive experience in talent acquisition and HR operations. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources Operations and Support Services at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Barry previously held leadership roles at DB Schenker as Head of Talent Acquisition for the Americas, and at GEODIS as Director of Human Resources North America. Barry's expertise spans across multiple industries, including logistics and engineering, having also served in strategic roles at Linde, Panalpina, and APL Limited. Barry holds a Master of Labor and Employment Relations and a Master of Human Resources Management from Rutgers University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bowling Green State University. Additionally, Barry has completed certifications in Human Resources Development from Villanova University and has served in the US Army, contributing to a well-rounded background in human resources and operational leadership.
