Isha Datar is the Executive Director of New Harvest, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing cellular agriculture through collaborative research and funding. Since joining New Harvest in January 2013, Isha has worked at the forefront of innovating animal product production without the use of animals. Previously, Isha served as a Director's Fellow at the MIT Media Lab, focusing on enhancing diversity and impact through technology and innovation. Isha's experience also includes a fellowship with the Shuttleworth Foundation, co-founding Clara Foods and Perfect Day, and a policy associate role at GlaxoSmithKline. Isha holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta.
