Vincent Nadeau-Benoit

Vincent Nadeau-Benoit has a diverse work experience in the mining industry. Vincent started their career in 2009 with a summer internship at the Ministère de l'Énergie et des Ressources naturelles, where they gained experience in geology. In 2010, they completed another summer internship in geology at Osisko Mining Corporation.

From 2011 to 2012, Vincent worked as an Exploration Geologist at Royal Nickel Corp.'s Dumont project, contributing to the exploration efforts.

In 2012, they joined Glencore as a Field Geologist, responsible for describing and sampling drill cores, as well as producing updated exploration materials such as maps, 3D models, and reports. Vincent later became a Coordinator for Continuous Improvement until 2018, playing a role in enhancing operations.

In 2018, Vincent joined InnovExplo as a Project Geologist, working on various projects until 2021. During this time, they served as a Senior Geologist for Mineral Resource Estimation and then as a Project Geologist.

Currently, Vincent is employed as a Senior Manager of Resource Geology at New Gold Inc., a position they have held since 2023.

Vincent Nadeau-Benoit's education history is as follows:

Vincent Nadeau-Benoit obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sciences de la terre (Géologie) from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, which they pursued from 2008 to 2010.

Prior to that, they completed a DEC en sciences pures et appliquées at Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their academic degrees, Vincent Nadeau-Benoit has obtained several professional certifications. Vincent became a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) from Engineers and Geoscientists BC in October 2021. Vincent also earned the certification of Geologist (P.Geo) from Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (NAPEG) in February 2019. Furthermore, they became a Géologue (géo.) from Ordre des Géologues du Québec in January 2011. Recently, Vincent Nadeau-Benoit obtained the certification of Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) from Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) in March 2023.
