Peter Banda is a Geologist in Training at New Gold Inc. since September 2022, focusing on geotechnical and geological mapping of underground developments. Previous experience includes serving as a Geological Consultant/Field Engineer at Klohn Crippen Berger, where responsibilities involved site characterization, geohazard risk assessment, and supporting field construction efforts. As a Junior Geologist at APEX Geoscience Ltd., Peter conducted geological field tasks and logging for various mineral deposits in British Columbia and Northwest Territories. Additional roles include VP Logistics for The World Mining Competition, Geotechnician at CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc, and Materials Coordinator at Luanshya Copper Mines PLC. Peter's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan and a Diploma in Business Administration from Zambia Institute of Business and Industrial Practice.
