Erica Ma has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainability. Erica currently works at New Gold Inc. as a Sustainability Analyst, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at New Gold Inc. as a Sustainability Coordinator from December 2020 to February 2023. Before joining New Gold Inc., Erica worked at INVIRO Engineered Systems Ltd. as a Sustainability Specialist from October 2019 to December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at BGIS as a Sustainability Coordinator from February 2017 to October 2019. Erica also gained experience as an Environmental Intern (Green Team) at Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions from January 2016 to April 2016 and as a Brand Ambassador at LAUNCH! from April 2015 to April 2016.

Erica Ma completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology, from Dalhousie University. Erica attended the university from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Erica pursued further education at Niagara College from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Assessment.
