Don Fraser is an experienced procurement and operations specialist in the heavy equipment and mining industries. Currently serving as a Senior Buyer at New Gold Inc. since February 2011, Don manages procurement for mining operations and oversees the acquisition of heavy equipment. Previous roles include Warehouse Supervisor and Parts Supervisor at Finning (Canada), where Don supervised operations and managed parts and inventory. Don's career also includes territory management positions at Madill Equipment and Terratech, alongside sales and management roles at Wajax Industries Ltd. Don began the career as a Journeyman Partsman and later handled purchasing for custom machine shops. Don Fraser pursued education through distant learning from January 2017 to June 2021 and attended the University of Calgary from 1992 to 1995.
