Samah Ghanem is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Senior School Principal at Qatar Academy since August 2024. Ghanem has held various roles within the International Baccalaureate organization since February 2016, including IB Program Leader and IB Workshop Leader, among others. Prior to the current position, Ghanem was the Secondary School Principal at Vision International School and held roles at The Hamilton International School and the American School of Doha, where extensive experience in teaching languages was gained. Additional professional experience includes roles as a translator and consular affairs specialist at various embassies and language instruction at The American University in Cairo. Ghanem holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
