Anthony James Acosta is an experienced project manager currently working with New Energy Equity since May 2021, focusing on C&I and community solar projects across Minnesota, California, and New York. Prior to this role, Acosta served as a project manager at Impact Power Solutions until January 2024 and worked at Knobelsdorff as an Energy Operations and Maintenance professional. Acosta started a career in the renewable energy sector as a sales consultant at TruNorth Solar, contributing to the growth of solar energy through client engagement and system installations. Additional experience includes a sustainability consultant internship at Green Ox Meat Company and a role as an independent contractor for 2 Gingers Whiskey, along with volunteer work as an English teacher at CLUES. Acosta holds degrees in Political Science and Sustainability from the University of Minnesota and an AA in Generals from Minneapolis College.
