Deborah Goeree is an experienced project manager with a focus on energy transition and community participation, currently working at New Energy Coalition since April 2019. Prior experience includes project coordination at RUG/Campus Fryslân, where Deborah contributed to launching a Master's program in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and built a network for student thesis projects. Additionally, Deborah was involved with Innovatiepact Fryslân, developing the Oranjewoud Export Academy for young professionals, and worked at Ecomunitypark, managing events and fostering connections between various stakeholders. As a contact person for an international exchange program at NHL Hogeschool, Deborah facilitated international collaborations in sustainability. Early roles included project work on human rights and sustainability with Tûmba and as chair of the Amnesty International student group in Leeuwarden. Deborah holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Social Formation from NHL and completed a minor in International Sustainable Business at Saxion Hogeschool Deventer.
