Dmitry Krutikov began their work experience as a Lecturer at the Ural Institute of Economics, Management, and Law in 1999. In 2000, they became a PhD student, Research Assistant, and Lecturer at the Department of Economics of the Ural State University named after A.M.Gorky. From 2005 to 2007, they also served as a Lecturer at the Russian-American Economic and Business Institute (RAMEC USU) at the same university. Dmitry then transitioned to the role of Deputy Director of RAMEC USU, a position they held from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, they joined the New Economic School (NES) as an Expert-consultant at the NES Outreach Center and later became the Deputy Director of the NES Outreach Center. In 2011, they started working at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics (HSE) as the Deputy Director of the HSE Center for Market Studies and Spatial Economics. At NES, they also held various roles such as Deputy Director at the NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions and Director of the Outreach Center. In 2019, they briefly served as the Interim Director of the Office of Research Administration at NES.
Dmitry Krutikov earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ural State University named after A.M. Gorky in 1998. Dmitry later obtained a Master's degree in Economics from the same university in 2000. In 2004, they also received a Certificate in Corporate Governance from Schulich School of Business - York University.
