Nika Skvir has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Teacher (Learning Specialist, Life Skills, English, and History) for grades 7-9 at New Canaan Country School since September 2010. Prior teaching roles include 7/8 Grade Humanities Teacher at Prospect Sierra School from September 2005 to June 2011, History Teacher at Trinity School in NYC from September 2001 to June 2004, and 7/8 Humanities Teacher at Prospect Sierra School from September 1998 to June 2001. Nika's early career also includes positions as an Upper School History Teacher at Greenhill School and Dana Hall School. Nika holds a Master of Early Adolescent Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and European Studies from the University of Michigan.
