James Godber is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Headteacher for Student Culture and Experience while also teaching English at New Cairo British International School since June 2021. Prior to this role, James Godber was the Acting Principal and Deputy Head of Whole School at The British International College of Cairo from July 2020 to July 2021. Additionally, James Godber held position as Deputy Headteacher at Cairo English School from August 2018 to July 2020 and gained valuable experience at Tibshelf Community School, where responsibilities included being an English Teacher, Head of Boys Progress, and Head of Year from January 2009 to August 2018. James Godber is currently pursuing the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders through Best Practice Network and holds a PGCE in English from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The Open University.
