Saul Santos is an experienced design professional currently serving as Senior Designer for Basketball & Field of Play at New Balance since April 2021, while also holding the position of Senior Principal at SAZAKA dsgn, a design consultancy and studio, since August 2020. Prior experience includes roles such as Industrial Designer 3 - Footwear Lead at Black Diamond Equipment from February 2020 to February 2021, and Footwear Designer at Brooks Running from January 2019 to February 2020. Additionally, Saul worked as Footwear Designer 2 at Altra Running, a VF Company, from January 2016 to January 2019, contributing to the Performance Road and Crossfit lines, including Altra's TORIN 3. Early career experience includes multiple footwear design consultancy roles from 2010 to January 2017. Saul Santos holds a degree in Latin American Studies - Industrial Design from Brigham Young University and has also engaged in studies at El Barrio focusing on practical life lessons and survival skills.
