Alonzo Martinez is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in mental health support, research, and community education. Currently serving as a Mental Health Aide and Team Lead for the Operation Artemis Unaccompanied Minors Project at New Alternatives, Inc. since March 2021, Alonzo previously worked as a Wellness Center Clerk for the Escondido Union High School District from May 2022 to June 2023. Alonzo's background includes roles as a Research Assistant at the National Latino Research Center and as a Community Educator with Universidad Popular. Alonzo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Justice Studies from California State University San Marcos, and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at San Diego State University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
