Mike Lane has extensive work experience in the commercial real estate industry. Mike started their career in 1990 at US Banccorp as a Commercial Real Estate Lender, and worked there until 2003. From 2003 to 2019, Mike worked at Wells Fargo as a Commercial Real Estate Lender. In 2019, they transitioned to Nevada State Bank where they held the role of Director of Commercial Real Estate.

Mike Lane obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance from Wake Forest University in 1988. Later on, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General at St. Louis University, completing their studies in 2004.
