Mark Karasek is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, technology, and entrepreneurship. As a Board Member at mHUB since 2017, Mark has contributed to a center that supports innovation and economic growth in the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as a Board Observer for Neursantys and a Business Consultant at Karasek Consulting, Mark focuses on strategy execution for companies. Academic roles include Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with previous positions as an Adjunct Professor at McCormick School of Engineering and Advisory Board Member for Northwestern University’s Master of Science in Product Design and Development Management. Mark's previous tenure as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering at Chamberlain Group involved overseeing significant product development and innovation efforts. Mark holds a PhD in Polymer Science from Penn State University and multiple degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
