Rakhi Kumar has served as a member of the board of directors since April 2021. Ms. Kumar serves as the Chief Accounting Officer of Roivant Sciences. Ms. Kumar joined Roivant in September 2015, and previously served as Vice President, Finance and External Reporting. Prior to joining Roivant, Ms. Kumar was responsible for external reporting, and corporate and technical accounting at The Medicines Company from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in her career, Ms. Kumar was in the assurance services at Ernst and Young. Ms. Kumar is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario, Canada. She received her M.S. in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford. They believe Ms. Kumar is qualified to serve on the board of directors based on her extensive leadership and life sciences industry experience.
