Xiaowei Zou, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. In 2008, they were a Graduate Research Assistant in Dr. Truman R. Brown's lab at Columbia University in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. In 2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant in Dr. Truman R. Brown's lab at the Medical University of South Carolina in the Department of Radiology. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Scholar in Dr. Dieter J. Meyerhoff's lab at the University of California, San Francisco in the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging, Center for Imaging of Neurodegenerative Diseases. During this time, they were also the Co-Chair of Women in Life Sciences and the Chair of Professional Development, Women in Life Sciences. In 2018, they became an Instructor of Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Visiting Scientist at Houston Methodist and a 7T MR Research Scientist at Siemens Healthineers. Currently, they are an MRI Scientist at neuro42.
Xiaowei Zou, Ph.D. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University between 2008 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University between 2004 and 2008.
